User Data Deletion

Vino ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by VeeCard Ltd. We respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of the personal data we hold about you, including data we may have received through Facebook Login or other third-party authentication providers.

What this page covers

This procedure applies to:

  • Restaurant owners and staff with an account on my.vino-smart.com.
  • Visitors who contacted us via vino-smart.com.
  • Users who connected to our services using Facebook Login or another social login provider.

How to request data deletion

You have two options to request that we delete your personal data.

Option 1: Delete your account from the dashboard

If you have an active Vino account, you can permanently delete it at any time:

1. Sign in to my.vino-smart.com. 2. Go to Settings → Account. 3. Click Delete account and confirm.

Deleting your account removes your profile, business information, menus, uploaded media, and any data associated with your Facebook Login (if used).

Option 2: Email us

Send an email to vino.smart.menus@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

  • The email address associated with your account.
  • If you signed in with Facebook, the Facebook account email or User ID.
  • A brief statement confirming you want your personal data deleted.

We will verify your identity, process your request, and confirm completion by email — typically within 30 days.

What we delete

Upon a verified request, we delete:

  • Your account profile (name, email, password hash).
  • Business and menu data associated with your account.
  • Uploaded images, logos, and content.
  • Authentication tokens and identifiers from third-party providers (e.g., Facebook).
  • Communications you've sent to our support team.

What we may retain

We may retain a limited subset of data when required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Billing and tax records, as required by financial regulations (typically 7 years).
  • Logs and security records needed to detect fraud or comply with legal obligations.
  • Anonymized analytics data that no longer identifies you.

These records are kept only for the period required and are securely destroyed afterwards.

Facebook Login users

If you used Facebook Login to access Vino and want us to remove the data we received from Facebook, you can:

  • Use either of the two options above, or
  • Remove the Vino app from your Facebook account: go to Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find Vino, and click Remove. Facebook will notify us, and we will delete the associated data.
